Treat yourself to a full 4-course meal at Antoinette for just $40++ that includes intricately-crafted appetizers to a decadent dessert, in celebration of their fourth anniversary. Available for the entire month of May, make a reservation now at the Penhas outlet as this special menu will only be available there.
Appetizers
To start off your meal, you will be treated to two appetizers – Smoked Salmon Mousse with Toasted Levain and Mosaic of Vegetables Terrine (pictured). The former is a lighter kick-start to your meal that includes a great textural variety from the chewy sliced octopus and the crunchy lotus chips.
The latter is an artwork in itself. Chef Pang of Antoinette ‘splashes’ down the red pepper coulis in a Jackon Pollock-esque style with added drips of pesto. The terrine itself is hard work to create, according to Chef Pang.
A lot of effort was needed to neatly arrange the vegetables to its beautiful compact state. What delighted us the most was how clean the terrine was on our palate and the coulis and pesto was a good choice to enhance the dish’s overall taste.
Mains
Choose between the Braised Beef Cheek with Potato Puree and Port Jus (pictured) and Chicken Roulade of Morel Mushroom and Pistachio wrapped in Savoy Cabbage, Potato Puree and Madeira Sauce (first image) for your main course.
If you wish to have something heavier, the beef cheeks would be your perfect pick. Braised until melt-in-your-mouth tender, the meat goes perfectly with the rich Port Jus and the smooth potato puree.
The chicken roulade consists of tasty chicken skin wrapping a still tender and juicy chicken meat with stuffed Morel mushrooms and pistachio for an extraordinary taste.
Desserts
No meal at Antoinette is complete without desserts crafted by the master himself, Chef Pang. After a heavy trio of savoury dishes, dive into his palate-cleansing Citrus Yogurt Sorbet with Peach Cream & Poached Apricot with no regrets.
The house-made sorbet was light and refreshing and the added ingredients around the attractively quenelle was just an added bonus.
