90g Planta margarine (80% fat) 75g sugar 15g egg yolk (1 egg yolk) 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla essence 135g plain flour 45g corn flour
Steps:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Line a cooking tray with baking parchment.Cream the margarine and sugar together for a minute or two.
2. Mix in egg yolk. If you want to, you can also add in a teaspoon of vanilla for and additional flavour. Stir in plain flour and corn flour. Knead briefly.
3. Roll out the dough to about 2-3mm thick and cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Bake the same-sized shapes together, for 16-20 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
