Have an Exotic Christmas Meal at Hinoki

Christmas is the time for turkeys, log cakes, and hams. Notice how during this season, most restaurants have these items on their menu? Well, as for Hinoki Japanese Dining, they are offering you something different—a 5-course Winter Menu which puts together some of the best and most exotic dishes served in Japan.

Start with their appetiser of Cod sperm in citrus sauce and Angler fish liver. This is a surprising Japanese dish which just bursts with flavour. So, if you just get past the idea that it’s sperm and liver, you’d find out why the Japanese love it so much.

As for the salad, they have the Puffer fish salad and shiso dressing. Yes, there’s puffer fish, but don’t worry, Chef Lawrence Chia is an expert with it. And the result is a fresh and chewy salad which everyone will love.

Now, for something a little less exotic—the Yellow fin tuna cheek with grape-seed oil tatar sauce and the 7 pcs of sushi platter which consists of the tuna belly, yellowtail, sea urchin, giant shrimp, snow crab, two pieces of maki. It is served with warm anglerfish liver soup. As for dessert, they have the Matcha mousse and citrus jelly to cleanse your palate.
