Hey bread lovers, get a loaf of this – Pacific Marketplace launched a bespoke sandwich menu earlier this week, and it will be available daily from 11am to 3pm. So if you're looking for lighter lunch options to avoid that food coma, keep reading.
As we know it, the permutations of sandwiches are nearly non-exhaustive from the type of breads, right down to the greens and toppings. To make things simple, the team at Pan Pacific Hotel has created a selection of sandwiches based on the following five flavour profiles – sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami.
So depending on your mood or appetite, you could go for Chicken Not Little ($13) – sweet grilled chicken with fig and apricot bread, It's O-Fish-al ($12) - tuna, mustard annd avocado on sourdough, Hey Pesto! ($13) – a salty pesto-filled buffalo mozzarella with carrot and cheese bread, Sea-riously, No Squidding ($14) - crabmeat salad on charcoal squid ink bread or Salami Get It Straight ($14) – a salami on sun dried tomato focaccia to hit that umami spot.
To bump things up for a heartier meal, add on their daily homemade soups or fresh salads. Both the sandwiches and breads are available for dine-in, takeaway and online orders at www.pacificmarketplace.com.sg.
