2014-05-08
Traditional longevity peach buns, better known as shou tao, are a must–have for any celebration in a Chinese restaurant as it symbolizes eternal blessings and longevity. This May, Peony Jade gives these pink steamed buns an egg-citing egg custard twist. Instead of the usual lotus paste, a restaurant signature buttery-sweet egg custard filling oozes as you sink your teeth in. Made fresh daily, the Longevity Peach Buns with Egg Custard are priced at $1.20 per piece for dine in (minimum order of 4 pieces) and $10 for a basket of 6 for takeaways. Do note that a one-day advance order will be required for takeaways and they will be available at both Keppel Club and Clarke Quay outlets now till 11 May 2014.
