To coincide with the Mid Autumn Festival, Cherry Garden at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore offers a tempting collection of delectable mooncakes from 26 July to 22 September 2010. Specially created by Executive Chinese Chef Hiew Gun Khong, a new range of snow-skin mooncakes takes centre stage this year. His “Snow-Skin Mooncake with Cherry Paste and Chinese Wine Cocktail Truffle” (S$52) is a unique creation made with cherry paste and truffle infused with the Chinese wine nu er hong, osmanthus wine gui hua chen and lychee liqueur.

Also look out for the “Yuzu-Chocolate-Champagne Snow-skin Mooncake” (S$52) combines Japanese Yuzu fruit with premium chocolate and champagne.

Don't forget about the delectable “Snow-skin Mooncake with Lotus Paste and Premium Chocolate Feuilletine” (S$62) which is a divine blend of homemade lotus paste and premium chocolate with crunchy crisp flakes.

After overwhelming response from guests last year, Chef Hiew will again be presenting this year “Soya Milk Snow-skin Mooncake with Egg White Custard and Crunchy Chocolate Pearls” (S$48), a unique mooncake made with soya bean snow-skin, omega egg white custard and chocolate coated cereal.

For those who prefer to try different snow-skin flavours, “Cherry Garden Four Treasure Mini Snow-skin Mooncake” (S$52) combines two flavours of your choice in a box of eight. The “Collective Gift Box” (S$128) contains four traditional mooncakes and a tin of Cherry Garden’s signature house tea, Emerald Tea, an immunity-boosting herbal tea that stimulates internal organs and supports healthy liver function.
