This time, the light is drawn upon ‘The Classics' – themed to showcase elegance and timelessness as the world’s best chefs seek to satisfy all food connoisseurs and wine aficionados. Be star-struck upon meeting the constellation of Michelin-starred chefs, go wine crazy or grab your seats for the line of themed dinners for a taste of true gastronomy. Mouton Rothschild Wine Dinner featuring International Masterchef Philippe Mille
In this wine dinner event, the famous Château Mouton Rothschild of Bordeaux will be presenting four of their best vintage wines, including Mouton Rothschild 2000. Pairing with the exquisite wines will be a special dinner menu cooked up by two Michelin star Masterchef Philippe Mille and Raffles Hotel’s Executive Chef Pierre Burgade. Citibank Gastronomic Jam Sessions Day 1 & 2 Back for the 3rd time, the Citibank Gastronomic Jam Sessions lets you in to the culinary world of foreign and local masterchefs. Expect to gain insights on their techniques and approaches through demonstrations. Also, don’t miss the gourmet area, which will be featuring top products available on the market. “The Art of Entertainment” returns with Dining Etiquette specialist Geoffrey Delhaye throwing you tips on how to pull off your dream party. And lending his expertise on the art of food and wine pairing is Three-Michelin-star Chef Thomas Bühner. Participants will get to enjoy an elegant lunch featuring Chef Bühner’s three-starred dishes – an opportunity not to miss. Date: 31 March 2014 Time: 10am to 2pm Venue: Miele Gallery Price: S$248 4. WGS Gourmet Golf Experience Experience one of the world’s most loved sports the way gourmet chefs would, with tantalizing spreads stationed at selected tee boxes, prepared by Singapore establishments like Bar-Roque Grill, La Maison Fatien and Pontini. To round everything up, the game of golf will end with an epicurean barbeque feast paired with the finest of wines. Junior Chefs’ Pastry Workshop featuring Christian Escriba Have a little aspiring chef under your roof? Bring him/her to this exciting hands-on pastry workshop conducted by guest Masterchef Christian Escriba, a 4th generation pastry chef from the famous Pasteleria Escriba in Barcelona. Children (6-12 years old) and accompanying guardians will learn to make delicious treats in a span of 90 minutes. So come and join in the fun! (You won’t need to clean up the mess afterwards.) The Macallan Whisky & Wagyu Dinner Not every chef would venture the path Chef Chris Millar did, pairing unique whisky selections with his specially crafted dishes – each with a story to tell. Kaluga Queen Caviar Dinner presented by Indoguna Kaluga Queen produces some of the best-farmed caviar in the world and a generous 1.8kg serving of the fine delicacy will be presented to you at this very dinner, with readily paired wines. For this event, six tables of ten will be hosted by Executive Chef Sandro Falbo of The Fullerton Hotel for a night of luxury indulgence. An open invitation to all genuine Foie Gras Adicionados, this epicurean foie gras dinner seeks to give an ultimate tasting experience that you won’t forget. Join Chef Ivan Brehm, executive chef of Bacchanalia, as he whips up mind-blowing dishes with foie gras and ingredients supplied by the world’s number one producer of the delicacy, Rougie Sarlat.
