This stall was formerly from the hawker behind Toa Payoh interchange in the eighties. I have been an ardent supporter of this stall till now. I happened to pass by this stall of char kway teow and decided to order a plate. Their char kway teow is very fragrant. The kway teow was very smooth and delicious. they were generous with their ingredients like beansprout, egg and cockles. Have not try from this stall before and we thought give it a try since my friend has cravings for cockles. While we were busy eating the fried egg omelette, came this aromatic fried kway teow and we just diverted our chopsticks onto the plate of kway teow. Wow, surprisingly it was good, very tasty and with breath of wok, also their cockles were fresh. We were not expecting it to be this good and a friend actually ordered a takeaway to have it for supper later. She told me the next day that it was still good even hours later.
