I ordered a Selina set that serves BBQ Chicken, Sour Plum Sweet potato and Super Caramel Bubble Tea with Grass Jelly & Aloe Vera. The bbq chicken was mildly spicy and tasted just right, not overwhelming. Sour plum sweet potato was my favourite side dish. The combination of sweet and sour was just so good I could have more than one packet. Their bubble tea is also very yummy. Because it's caramel, I opted for 50% sweetness and the tea was smooth and nice. having aloe vera in it adds a tinge of sour into the sweet tea. This brand of street food and bubble tea is really very good. you should go for it everytime you see it. Read More

I love taimei is quite interesting as they actually named their set meal after famous celebrities in taiwan like example selina, jolin etc. I ordered the fries and also their chicken set. But i did not really like the chicken as it is quite soggy and although the chicken are in huge chunks, it is not very nice. The fries on the other hand was great. The pearl milk tea was also not too bad although i would still prefer koi's one, but their pearls are actually quite chewy and nice. Read More

Was hungry after shopping at Bugis Street so decided to buy the BBQ Chicken chop at I <3 Taimei. After ordering I had to wait for like 5 full minutes...which I consider a little too long for a street store since you're basically standing there waiting to leave. It took so long because the chicken chop had to be dipped in the flour and crust, then be fried, and then barbecued. It definitely wasn't worth the wait. Firstly, they cut it up in HUGE chunks that are impossible to finish within 2 bites. Secondly, the chicken is dry. Lastly, the chicken has bones. Like seriously, who actually buys chicken chop with bones to eat while on the go? However, the BBQ taste is very authentic and unique to I <3 Taimei. Although I did enjoy the taste, it was too much hassle and I definitely not will buy it again. Just FYI, it was only $4.00 for a really huge piece of chicken chop. Read More

Went to Wo ai taimei for cold drink. I had their normal milk tea with grass jelly. I chose grass jelly instead of their pearls as i had tried a couple of times and their pearls are pretty hard. Grass jelly is in huge chunk and can be suck up easily via the huge straw given. The texture is really great. Smooth and tasty! I find the milk tea a little powdery though. Other than that i guess this is a good thirst quencher!Read More

Went to bugis Street to shop and while under such terrible weather of singapore now in, the first thing that come to my mind is to get a cold chilled Milk tea. And the nearest found bubble tea food chain will be I LOVE ♥ TAIMEI. As usual i ordered a Orginal Milk Tea as i love their orginal milk tea a lot with 50% sugar level as it wont be too sweet nor tasteless. The well brewed tea with a great aroma fragrance are well mixture with the milk that will make me feel like drinking for more. Although is just a normal milk tea but it is really one of my best top choice. :) Read More

I bought the caramel milk tea with grass jelly in large cup from I love taimei. The milk tea tasted so good with the caramel. The caramel gave the milk tea a sweetish fragrance. the millk tea is very smooth as well. I like their grass jelly. It is so cooling and refreshing. They were very generous with their grass jelly topping, it made the drink taste more refreshing. I love how the grass jelly slides down my throat. Great for hot weather.Read More

Even though the chicken cutlets here are not as big as those in Taiwan, but the taste of it is as good as there. The chicken cutlets are marinated with lots of their special spices and sauce before coated with a thick layer of flour and bring to deep fry. The outcome is really crispy crust on the outside and juicy, tender meat is done after the deep fry. If you like the spicy version, do request from the staff to add in the chilli powder to it as their chilli powder is fragrant and at the same time very spicy too. Long satay sticks are used to pick up the chicken cutlets which is easy to eat and cost saving for the stall as well. Read More

There is one thing that I love taimei has and it is a must try. It was my first time trying this and I am totally hooked on. It is their toufu fries. they cut the toufu fries into strips afterwhich they deep fry the toufu. It has this crispy coating around it. I find it better than their normal fries where the outside is crispy and the inside is soft. you can choose their seasoning as well which I opted for cheese flavor. It tasted really good. added a cheesy taste to the already delicious toufu fries.Read More

Very attractive and interesting shop name ~~ I love taimei means i love Taiwan girl. This bubble tea is origin from Taiwan with 'han tian' topping up. Quite a lot of ice added but not really diluted. You have many choices of topping up with different price. I like bubble tea from Taiwan. Their tea fragrance really different from Singapore. After drink, you wouldn't have the 'siap siap' feeling but the tea fragrance will stay..Read More

The first time I tried I Love Taimei, I told myself I would never buy it anymore. I bought the milk tea with pearls drink and it tasted weird. Im not too sure if it is because it has been kept too long or something, but I immediately threw it away and couldn’t be bothered confronting the staff as the queue was really long. Not a good experience.Read More

Long queue as usual especially on school holidays and weekends. Love their cheese fries. Hot, crispy fries topped with cheese powder. I also had my all time favourite milk tea with grass jelly. I preferred grass jelly than pearls as they are softer and this combination taste really well! A great afternoon snack after a day of shopping at bugis street!Read More

Had their cheesy bacon shake fries which costs $2 which i think is quite reasonable. They fries are crispy fried, with a lot of cheese added which a good choice for cheese lovers. They are not stingy with their serving; the fries are filled more than half of the bag. Read More

Interesting shop name thus decided to queue for their bubble tea!As a bubble tea lover, I would always first try the pearl milk tea of each shop to determine if it's nice as I feel that it's the most basic :)I didn't like the taste of the milk tea.I replaced my pearl with their white pearl, but the texture wasn't as nice as Gong Cha's white pearl. As I believe, great food comes with great service, the service there was bad. I guess the typical "ah lian" attitude.I would not recommend if you wanna try their bubble tea.Read More

i came across this really cool shop called I love tai mei. They actually named their food after Taiwanese celebrities. There was selina, hebe, ella, rainie yang, patty hou, big and small s and other actresses. I decided to give it a try. I bought the rainie yang set meal which was actually extra crispy nuggets with bubble tea. My friends who were with me also both the set meals. My bubble milk tea tasted really good, love the smoothness of the drink and the chewiness of the pearls.Great innovation! Read More
