It's my birthday it's my birthday. We went to Xin Wang at Springvale. We ordered HK milk tea, kaya bread, thick french toast and got a free Birthday platter! Love the beverage and food here; Milk tea was cold and aromatic; thick eggy, soft and buttery toast drizzle with sweet maple syrup and creamy butter YUMMY! The platter has tiny but tasty, cheesy pizza; fried fish and sotong ball is bouncy and not oily.Read More

This dry version of instant noodles here at this cafe may be an ideal choice for me if I happen to revisit this cafe in future. The noodles is quite alright, which has its usual chewyness and it is not too soggy. However when comes to the marination of the noodles, the taste of it is abit too bland and plain. Not much ingredients are topped on it which make the whole presentation looks quite boring and nothing is able to enhance the taste of this bowl of noodles after you have mix well on all the ingredients in it.Read More

I seldom will visit this place for the main meals but only will order their toasted/fried bread and dessert. The portion for dessert is really huge that can be shared by whole family and the ice shave for the dessert melts rather slowly . My hubby had ordered their porridge as he was unwell. I took some to try and I really don't like it. It tasted like those instant porridge to me. There wasn't much ingredients in the porridge, which I feel it not worth paying for this dish at this place. Will only reccommend this place for friend gathering. Read More

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe tries to sell authentic hong kong food cuisine except for the fact that they don't meet the standard. My friends and I were chilling out in the east the other night, decided to order a warm dessert to perk me up. I was looking through the menu and finally settled on the hot almond paste. It took the restaurant approximately 25 minutes to serve and when the almond paste arrived, it was served at room temperature with a layer of 'dried' almond paste coating. It wasn't too sweet but after a few mouthfuls, it started to make me sick and it had the 'gelat' aftertaste. The almond flavor wasn't distinct either and the fragrance was hardly present. Coming back here for dessert the next time will be a no-no, not sure about the food though but I'm relatively negative about it. The almond paste cost $3.80 excluding gst.Read More
