According to my friend, this store has been around a long time and it's good enough that he sometimes have a craving for it.It's my first time having prawn noodles with pork ribs. Honestly, I'm not too big a fan of prawn noodles cause I usually find that the soup is too salty and I feel really thirsty afterwards. The taste was just right and it wasn't too bland so I didn't get sick of the taste. The portions of hte noodle was also a lot so this bowl would definitely fill you up.The meat was not

The meat was not too fatty but still soft enough so it wouldn't stick in your teeth

The lady who was serving was friendly and was open to refiling the bubbling soup when it was depleted.

what are the key points to make a good prawn noodle? To me, a good prawn noodle must have a good soup base which is aromatic and refreshing. Apart from the soup base, the prawn used must be fresh, not too small size and must have juices that has absorbed some of the soup base. The pork ribs used must also be nicely cut, not too big and must be well cooked, have a soft and tender texture. With the prawn noodle that is brought from this stall, I personally think that the soup base is still lacking

The pork ribs used must also be nicely cut, not too big and must be well cooked, have a soft and tender texture. With the prawn noodle that is brought from this stall, I personally think that the soup base is still lacking some of the taste, maybe the soup base should be boiled for a longer time. The prawn and the pork ribs used is fresh and sufficiently cooked. Overall, quite a tasty prawn noodle but there is area that still can be improved further. [Review from mobile]

I was looking high and low for a Prawn Noodle (the hokkien mee style) stall when I saw someone took a plate of it and passed by me. We thought it was not from the big prawn noodle stall as its menu was showing only normal prawn mee noodle soup. As we went closer to the stall, we noticed the availability, there was only 2 portions, S$5 and S$8. Ordered the $5 portion prawn noodle. Presentation looks chaotic to me, gravy of the mee was rather thick, rich, strong in prawn taste. All was good except

Ordered the $5 portion prawn noodle. Presentation looks chaotic to me, gravy of the mee was rather thick, rich, strong in prawn taste. All was good except that the mee comes with "ki" smell from the yellow noodle and also prawns were rather mushy. We couldn't finish the plate of noodles, leaving a big stomach space for desserts.
