Friday night decided to have some light dinner.Nex shopping on fridday night is so crowded.Went up to the 4th level for the food court. At Nex there is two food court.Saw A1 Porridge stall, guess there is a lot of other outlet and most of it you can find in food court.Wanted to know if they have the same taste as other outlet.Order the cuttlefish porrigde.Cost - $5.50Waiting time (depend on crowd) 15 minute. First scoot of the porridge. Very silky and smooth and soft. NICE....... Cuttlefish inside the porridge was good and fresh.Overall ; Great meal for those who want light ...

ordered the seafood claypot hor fun to try since my friend recommended me this chain as the other outlet he tried was really nice. i think the presentation of the hor fun looks not bad, quite nice but the taste was slightly blend but if eaten with the green chili, i think was not bad. the portion was average, quite ok for a girl but may be not enough for the guys. i think the concept of putting the noodle in a claypot instead of the normal metal mini wok is quite new and keep the food warm much better

Tried the sesame chicken with rice as recommended by the stall holder. Mistake! It was terrible! There was hardly any meat at all. The chicken skin was VERY thick. And the chicken pieces were very small. Basically it was a couple of chicken legs chopped into 3 parts.The chicken bones were brittle and broke every time I poked the chicken pieces. I had to keep spitting out chicken bone bits and it hurt my teeth! I don't think i tasted any meat at all!The dish didn't even have sesame taste. Just some soy sauce taste. The gravy was very sticky and gluggy, like dark brown mucus! And this pot cost $7.90! For nothing, but brown mucus, this is way over-priced. Maybe their porridge is better.Lesson: do NOT go for what the stall holder recommends as usually they are recommending what they cannot sell!Terrible experience and waste of money. Not recommended for ay of their claypot rice dishes. May be recommended for their porridge dishes.Love the Food Junction at nex! It's so neat and orderly and relatively clean.
