This Niang Dou Fu stall at Ayer Rajah Hawker Centre only open from morning to Lunch and it was always long queue. Today, when I see the queue was shorter, I went to have a try. The signboard wrote that all the Niang Dou Fu were homemade. There were quite a number of varieties of Niang Dou Fu to choose from. I chose 10 items and total cost $5. The condiments such as sweet sauce, chilli sauce and crushed crispy pork lard were self serviced.

The dark purple sweet sauce tasted very good with fermented bean taste and was mild salty and sweet. The Niang Dou Fu also tasted good and was pre-fried, with generous fish paste in it. Although I ordered dry version of Niang Dou Fu, there was a small bowl of soup given. The soup tasted good with soya bean and pork broth taste.

Overall, this Niang Dou Fu was good but the prices I felt was slightly high for a meal in hawker centre.

FoodFood is pretty nice and Ah Wei has been quite famous during my school days even till now. The stall is always pack with alot of people and long queues are just a norm for them during peak hours especially. Pampered by the wide varieties of YTF (Yong Tao Fu) to choose from the stall. Ah Wei Niang Dou Fu also offers, "Fen Chang" (pig intestine). Soup was light in taste and very different from the usual YTF soup. Service
I was kind of mad at the service as my time was limited. The uncle mentioned that it will be fast but we notice that there were more than 10 bowls of Niang Dou Fu ahead of us and we had to wait terribly long. The uncle who has his shirt soiled with sweat was the only one preparing the food while the lady who was standing outside the stall is taking orders and collecting payments. Orders are well indicated clinging onto the bowl with a peg and paper by the lady.

Ambience
No queue was seen initially and given customer a false hope that food will be served fast.

Price
Quite average pricing. 7 Items costs S$3.50 with each at S$0.50

Recommendation / Tips
Although there were not many bowls in queue (can be seen on the table), they are all hidden on the shelves. For those with limited lunch hours, it is best not to listen to their advice on the speed of serving and not to be misled by the few number of bowls they had and the "no queues" scenario.
