Ajisen ramen continues to be a popular choice among Singaporeans for a fuss-free and reliable dining experience. The restaurant not only has a wide variety of ramen, they also have set meals and membership discounts to offer. They have also ventured into offering rice set meals to provide even more options for diners. I visited the United Square branch and I continue to be happy with their food and service.I ordered the Beef Ramen set, which comes with a choice of side dish and one drink. For the side dish, I chose a plate of white fish and for the drink, hot green tea. The green tea is refillable so fret not if you always seem to finish your drink too early or too quickly. For the side dish, you can choose from fried tofu to sushi maki to chicken wings. I like Ajisen's white fish as it is always crispy and the batter is not too thick. The piece of fish has a solid amount of fish meat and the side dish comes with Thai chili sauce and mayonnaise. Superb! The beef ramen has about 6-7 chunks of beef and if you're lucky, you can get some tendon parts too. Soup is tasty and flavourful and the noodles are soft, springy and nice to chew. The beef is cooked till it is soft and it is not the kind that gets stuck in your teeth. I recommend Ajisen for a comfortable ramen dining experience. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is food for group hangouts. continue reading

I had their $7.90 anniversary special ramen- Aso ramen. It's served in a milky broth with a hard boiled egg, tender pork meat, seaweed and beansprouts. It was quite normal actually but I guess for the price (a under $10 bowl ramen) it's not too bad! The service staff was quite attentive to our needs, and ensured our glasses of water were refilled. continue reading

Went there for dinner with friend. I oredered Chicken Teriyaki Ramen. First time trying this ramen, I found it a bit disappointed. First bite, the ramen was nothing impressed me much. It was a bit salty but the ramen did tasted chewy. The chicken was a bit hard to chew and to me it not really fresh and moist. I will not order this again. Overall, the ramen was average. continue reading

YES! I finally am able to eat my favourite volcano ramen!! I love the spicyness of it and how shiok it is to be able so devour the whole bowl of ramen! Thinking of it now at this time still makes me salivate esp when looking at the picture! Although a lot of people cant take the spicyness of it, but i simply love it ! Service was quick too, but i guess that was because the outlet at novena is kinda less crowded. there weren't many people in the restaurant at that time when i was dining in. continue reading
