I was shopping at Ang Mo Kio Courts and was hungry so i went to the nearest coffee shop which is the one at blk 727. I saw the ingredients displayed at the Ampang Yong Tau Foo (Sungei Wang) stall looks tempting so i order a bowl of soup with rice. The fish cake taste fresh and has the nice texture. The toufu with fish meat was also done nicely. Even though i ordered a fried wanton which was soggy in the soup, the wanton still taste nice.

This stall offers the Ampang style Yong Tau Foo and the usual type as well as the Laksa. There is a requirement of minimum of 6 items, if to go with the Ampang sauce would be an additional of 0.50 cents; same go with the laksa sauce. Another 0.50 cents would be chargeable for bee hoon, noodle or rice. I selected the 6 items and have it with rice for $3.50. The soup has got a slight taste of ikan belis and soya beans. The tau kwa seemed to have got a stale taste but the rest tasted alright. The chilli and the sweet sauce tasted just average. If, to compare this to the famous stall in the food centre then i would rather go for the famous stall anytime.
