For only $3, you get a large bowl of sumptuous noodles with generous pieces of white chicken. I was at Ang Mo Kio Teck Ghee Food Center on a Monday and as usual, not many stalls were open a lot of stalls rest on Monday. I have not eaten at Ang Mo Kio Curry Rice before so I ordered a plate of mix curry rice. I order rice with curry veg, sweet sour pork and omlette. The sweet and sour pork was a bit hard and the curry veg tasted a bit bland. The only redeeming quality is the omlette which taste great.

I had been in this food centre with Grandpa pretty often but have never gotten a chance to try the curry rice from this very stall as yet as this stall started late for lunch. I went for lunch today right after visited Grandpa. I was there at about 1.30 pm, some of the dishes were already sold out hence i left with pretty limited choice. I decided to go with sweet and sour chicken, fried onion egg and tau kwa for $3.50. The pricing was a little on the high side for a 1 meat and 2 non-meat dishes.Good thing was it tasted pretty alright though not the best testing but rather acceptable particularly the fried onion egg. It was light and fluffy just exactly how i liked it to be. The sweet and sour chicken tasted fine too. The tau kwa was pretty decent as well. This could be a good choice if you are here and looking for a decent meal.
