Angie The Choice (Closed)

I love yam-flavored cakes and it's so rare to find in Singapore... So when I get to know that Angie the Choice has got this flavor on their shelves, I decided to get order that cake for my sibling's birthday. she was pretty happy with how beautiful the cake is and when we cut and tasted the cake, it taste really good! Decided to try the mixed fruit cake from Angie the Choice. The cake itself, as usual, is soft and moist. It was sweet and carried a light peach flavour. In between the cake were slices of peach and whipped cream. Cake was topped off with more whipped cream and some coloured cream which didn't carry any particular taste/weak taste. I personally like the whipped cream from Angie b/c it is sweet but not too sweet. Also, it doesn't leave the oily feeling on your lips after eating it. It costs $2.80

I've had several friends recommend me the cakes from Angie The Choice so I decided to try one of their cakes while I'm at Tiong Bahru Plaza. I went for the old school black forest cake which costs $2.60 for a relatively small slice. The cream and chocolate weren't too sweet and the cake is very soft and fine. The blueberry had a weird taste as compared to regular blackforest cakes but it tastes pretty good too. Overall, its probably not worth the money considering their slices are much smaller t

I chose to buy from Angie the Choice because of it's nice presentation. So pure, and nice.. I bought one just a friend for her birthday. I tasted a little and it's good.. I love the chunks of strawberry they have inside and it is so so worth the money!! I would like to try other flavours they have there too..Food is ok, but service needs improvements though. I dont seem like i am motivated to go back there again as the staff shows little sincerity and enthusiasm. I dont really feel much welcomed
