Have heard a lot about this restaurant in Holland Village from various publication. Finally had the opportunity to visit them with some colleagues. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. I imagines that it will be a veyr warm and cosy bar by night. They are having a 2 for 2 promotion with OCBC card. For $17 before tax, you can have a 2 course set lunch. For me, first up was their pumpkin soup. It was very smooth in texture. It's not diluted and really tasty. You get pumpkin bits as well, simply awesome. For mains, I chose wild garlic mushroom pasta. I initially thought it was just aglio olio with mushroom and pasta, however what surprised me was the slight spice that came with the aglio olio sauce. I liked this very much, thought a little oily, I finished everything!I hope to visit them again to try other food stuff, probably at night to chill! continue reading

The salmon here at Barossa is really fresh and deliciously cooked. The salmon is not too cooked and this causes the salmon to have a nice texture. The dish came with two sides of which i picked the cheesy spinach and the bacon asparagus. The bacon added a nice aroma to the asparagus and the asparagus were all soft and tender. The cheesy spinach was eally good and love the cheese and spinach combination. continue reading

It was a weekday afternoon lunch and they were having a one-for-one pasta promotion. Super worth it! I had a roast chicken pasta while my friend ordered a spicy garlic prawn pasta. The presentation of the food was really enticing already. The chicken pasta sauce was rather light but not bland, so you won't feel grossed out for finishing it.I noticed they show EPLs over the weekends. Great place to chill for a beer even if you are not there for dinner. continue reading
