I passed by this stall selling traditional kuehs after my lunch nearby. The large variety of kuehs enticed me into the shop and I was attracted to the jiu cheng gao (9 layer kueh) and decided to buy one of it. The kueh is wrapped with a plastic wrap for easy handling and I like to peel off layer by layer to savour the taste. It has a strong fragrance of coconut, probably from the coconut milk used and it has the right amount of sweetness. Each costs $0.60, worthy of a try if you like such snacks.

Location : 537 Bedok North St3, abit hard to access as there's no nearby MRT What's good in particular : Pandan flavoured kueh with glutinous rice was sweet and the ratio of rice to kueh was perfect. What's bad in particular : n/a ABiteOfEverything.com
