Signature Dishes
I had double scoops of dark rocher and chocolate mint for $7.70. This was a good combination because the dark rocher had a rather rich chocolate taste and it was "neutralized" by the softer, lighter and refreshing taste of mint. The flavours were also not too sweet. The cup seemed quite small but it was more than enough surprisingly! There are also some seats inside the shop.

Went to get some gelato with my friend after dinner at Gelateria Italia. They are good in the sense they allow customers to try different flavours (just point to the flavour you had like to try and they will scoop a small spoonful for you to try). I taste-tested the lemon one, quite nice but not sure i can handle the tangy-ness so went for the Cookies and Cream one. I regretted it. It tasted largely of vanilla and dough. Didn't enjoy it much. I guess it could be because its quite sweet and so when you have to finish the whole cup, one can get sick of the flavour after awhile. Hardly any trace of the oreo-esque cookie taste which i was expecting. Should have just settled for the Lemon.My friend got the Soursop one, which i think tastes fantastic. Quite interesting a flavour. A little sour but its also sweet so its not too overwhelming (like those sour till your mouth also become twisted kind). But I only had a bite so it's hard to tell. One bite compared to one whole cup. (lucky i ordered the small cup one)Still i think the flavours offered at Gelateria Italia are exceptional except for a few exceptions like the Cookies and Cream.

There was this Italian Gelato Ice Cream cafe at the basement of JCube where the gelato placing shelves looked very artistic but not sure does it taste as good?So decided to try this time and ordered a 3 scoops one as I calculated, 3 scoops was more worth then buying a single or double scoops.The Gelato was creamy soft and smooth, though not as soft as soft served ice cream from McDonald's.The flavours were thick and sweet also, melts immediately on your tongue.

Redeem this birthday booklet at either IMM or Jcube during your birthday month and you will be entitled a free grande size gelato ice cream! Well, I went to redeem the ice cream at around 2-3 plus in the afternoon and the queue was long. Maybe because there is only one person handling the stall hence there was a long jam. Well, the 3 flavours I had chosen are Mama's Cookies, Strawberry Cheesecakeand Swiss Chocolate. But it was a bad match. The Swiss Chocolate tasted was too strong that it overwhelmed the other flavours! Well, I had added marshmellow to my gelato too, which give a chewy texture.

I had bought a deal from a group-buying website and went to Jcube outlet for Gelateria Italia for redemption. First thing that hit me was the less than warm reception I received from the person at the counter. It took some time for her to serve other customers who were not using the coupons Well, but the ice cream really made my day. I ordered 3 different flavors in total: Strawberry Cheesecake, Caramel and Mama's Cookies. They are all sweet just as I like my ice cream Overall I liked the Strawberry Cheesecake the most and you can find some strawberry bite in between. The Caramel and Mama's Cookies feel sandy going down the throat, but still good!
