Recently tried satay from this BBQ stall in Ang Mo Kio Market & Food Centre. It is quite nice. I seems 'low in fat' because the satay does not come with fatty portions found in most traditional satays.I more prefer this kinds of satay. The chicken satay is tender and sweet.the sauce provided is also quite nice. But the satay was good enough to eat without the gravy. The ketupats is 50 cents a piece.but the ketupat still taste normal only.

This is a must to order whenever i am at this food centre for dinner. The chicken wings are always nicely BQQ-ed to give it a slightly crispy skin. Remember to squeeze the lime as it helped to enhance the flavor and it went very well with the nice but not spicy chilli provided.

I have tried satay from many places. Muslim-style and Chinese-style satay do have their differences. The former tends to be more compact whilst the latter contains bits of fatty parts easily visible to the naked eye. Chong Pang City’s satay are bbqed till tender and marinated tasty. I have a deeper impression of their pork satay though as unlike most traditional Chinese satay stalls, the ones here contain less fatty parts and somehow taste in pale similar comparison to roasted char siew meat. I have also tried their pork and chicken, either which are delightfully bbqed. Apart from satay, they do sell pre-packed nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaf in a triangular shape and bbq chicken wings and spring chicken too.
