Finally tried the prawn noodles ($3) and it was quite disappointing. Perhaps I was expecting more because there is always a long queue at this stall. To me, it tasted just like any other prawn noodles and there isn't really anything special about this to warrant a long queue. One plus point was that the prawns and ingredients were fresh. This have been my favorite prawn mee stall since young when they were still at Blk 86 Zion Road. Love their dry noodles most, with a generous serving of prawns, meat, fishcake and best with ketchup if you opt for no chilli.... the noodles are cooked so well that there is completely no "jian" taste that I have tasted in other yellow noodles. Accompanied by a rich broth of prawn soup, it is the best comfort food one can ever have. Cheap and tasty, my all time favorite!
