Visited a new place along Upper Aljunied Road, and was pleasantly surprised!

The playfulness of the name Da Tou Xia (which means absent mindedness) attracted me and the prawn noodles turned out to be such a wonderful play on the tongue!

The broth was very robust (unlike many other prawn noodles stalls these days which serve highly diluted water) with a strong prawny flavour and complemented the taste of the noodles well.

I had ordered the prawn and pork ribs noodles (soup) for $4.90/- (promo) and the meat simply fell off the bone.

Wonderful!
