Nowadays a lot of people are quite anti shark fins. You can already spot the trend during wedding dinners. But how about "fake" and yummy shark fins soup! Usually i see it at pasar malam but sometimes it may not be nice. But the ones at Daun Pandan Rice Dumpling are always quite consistent in taste and texture for the soup. I frequent the Junction 8 outlet. Sometimes at Nex! For $2.80, i'm paying for convenience too as and when I want it if I'm nearby!

This outlet is just one fo the many outlets and I am quite lucky as many of the outlets are accessible to me by a short bus journey. So whenever I am in bishan and want to have some rice dunpling, I will buy it from Duan Pandan because personally I find that their rice dumpling is so far the best I ever tasted. The glutinuous rice was cooked just right, not undercooked. The rice was soft and a bit sticky. The noya rice dumpling was filled with quite a amount of meat that has been well marinated

Not too salty but more on the sweet side. The dumpling itself is quite big and one will be enough to fill the space in my stomach.
