Similar to common hawker stall, it was small but provided choices with flavours and prices stated. Ladyboss was superb, handle the stall herself alone. Hot Chinese-style dessert soups were all readily to be served, thus the waiting time was pretty fast. These were the most common traditional, suitable to elderly as well as teenagers. Both of them were thick, with rich Pandan Leaves aroma. Beans were squashy mashed, easy to swallow yet filling. The best way to soothing throat, every spoon was homely and sweet. $1.20 each bowl, it was not expensive at all. continue reading

Ice Kachang is a perfect choice for dessert on a superb hot day. The pile of shaved ice was nicely presented in a transparent plastic bowl. The portion was quite a big one for $1.20. The color of the shaved ice did not look too attractive. Though there are 3 different colors but their tastes tasted about the same with minimum sweetness. There was quite a handful of ingredients like atap seeds, sweet corns, red beans and jelly cubes awaited beneath the shaved ice. Apparently, it tasted quite the same as my first visit about two year ago. No particular surprise. continue reading

Decided to go for a dessert on a hot weather. Saw this dessert stall and decided to try its dessert and ordered the cendol. The ingredients in the cendol includes red bean, corn, red jelly cubes, green stripe cendol jelly, atachi added with generous amount of coconut milk and gula melaka brown sugar. The combination of the coconut milk and the brown sugar produces a very unique flavour, light and refreshing taste. Sufficient amount of the coconut milk and brown sugar was added as the taste was just right, not too bland. The cost of the dessert range from $1.20 to $2 ++. Not only does this stall sell dessert, their also sell refreshing drink such as longan, soursoup, lemon and much more. continue reading
