Looking at the prices of the desserts they offer. They are reasonably priced and with a huge variety of desserts! They had 3 friendly staff all in uniform that churned out the desserts quickly. Hence there wasn't a line whereas the next door fish ball noodle had a snaking queue.I read that the owner goes to Melaka to buy the Chendol jelly and I believe this. The colour of the jelly is a pale green compared to a bright green which is the normal colour of the Chendol jelly at most desserts. I'm guessing those are the factory produced Chendol jelly with more artificial colour ones. The gula melaka in this dessert was also very fragrant and authentic! My parents who missed the good ole Chendol from Melaka will be back here on a routine basis now that we have found a hidden gem in the Toa payoh neighborhood!

This chendol stall has had raving reviews from a popular food blogger and was even featured on TV! I made a trip down to this hawker with my friend to see how good it is! This was how it looked like when it was served. The shaved ice covered the whole bowl. After mixing everything together, we realized that the only ingredients were red beans and green jelly which were quite little. It didn't even have attap chee! Also, I can't exactly taste the gula melaka. I felt disappointed and my friend feels that the coconut milk was too much. It is really a simple bowl of chendol and I think the durian version will be better!

The stall was running by a ladyboss, she was a friendly lady and very particular in making her dessert. Insisted to use top-quality of ingredients, the desserts sold here were all fresh and delicious. Famous Nyonya dessert, it was made mainly by Coconut milk along with Sweet Potatoes, Yam and colourful Tapioca cubes. You may have it either warm or cold with shaved ice, I prefer warm version personally. Thick and savory soup, the texture was chewy for all ingredients. The taste wonderfully joined together, I can bite little bit Sago inside. Not too sweet, it was just nice and totally not feeling greasy after eating. Only sold at $1.30, the portion was satisfying. I like it very much.

Never thought chendol would taste this good till u tried this! The chendol strips was homemade by the stall owner, using pandan leaves and mung beans, which make the big difference. Together with grated red beans, fresh coconut milk and gula melaka, its so addictive!!At only $1.50 per bowl, or add 50 cents more for durian pulp to send oneself to cloud nine.Besides chendol, all its other desserts were also good....all done the traditional way.
