Just wanna add that Fish & Co.'s Seafood Platter for two! The serving is indeed enough for 2 pax (or even 3 small eaters)The platter comes with mussels, grilled prawns (cut length-wise so it's super easy to remove from shell without fingers), grilled sotongs (which you can request to change into deep fried version if you prefer that), slice of breaded grilled fish, over a portion of their flavoured rice and a portion of fries. Should you prefer more rice like me, you can also request for your platter to be without fries but with 2 portions of rice instead. The flavours are also good as the seafood is fresh so no fishy taste to spoil your dining experience. continue reading

I was cracking my head what to eat with my friend as her food preferences is totally different from mine! Since I had not visited Fish & Co. for at least 1 year, I proposed that we try this outlet at VivoCity. The Fish & Co. here is very small, hence waiting time of around 15 min is expected during a Friday evening. As we browsed thru' its menu, I noticed that their menu had revamped to include more combos which is a good thing! I suggested to my dining partner that we share the Seafood Platter for Two, which is my favourite. As both of us do not take mussels, I requested the waitress to help me customise the whole platter. We swapped the mussels for salad; changed the French fries to smashed potato (which looks good on the menu) & opted for deep fried calamari (instead of grilled). The waitress gladly noted our special request We were really happy with our customised seafood platter when it arrived! The smashed potato was served separately & the milky sauce was well contained inside ~ it's nice! Thou I would love to have more of its sauce! The platter comes with grilled prawns, white fish & paella rice. The salad was very good that I whacked a good portion of it. My only lament was that the prawns did not seem to be very fresh as I need to spend some effort to de-shell it! I remember it is usually very easy to pull out the prawns from the shells! Overall, I would still list this as my favourite and shall have this combination in future. continue reading

I remember fish & Co ... read the full review at kopidiem.wordpress.comToday, Fish & Co has definitely grow much bigger in terms of the number of outlets they have and in terms of the variety of food they serve. Not only are they selling just one type of fish & Chips, they now boast 9 different types of fish and chips– Italian, Danish, Swiss, Singapore and even Bombay! They also serve chicken and pasta dishes.. and im glad they have so many variety of fish, and let you choose your sides as well!I ordered the white fish with sambal and got 2 sides of veg (low carb!) and the fish was a generous portion with a sambal which tasted very ‘malay’ style. Just the right amount of kick without overwhelming spiciness. I was also missing the grilled squid with black spice in the seafood platter i used to love so much and it still tasted good to me! Ordering the grilled calamari as a side also means that they gave the squids that are bigger and they were really very succulent! Over the mild peppery spice they also had a small amount of lemon butter sauce on it. Im not a lover of sotong and what’s more, non-fried version was never something I would usually order, except at Fish & Co! The Angmoh kia wasnt very used to this and said he still prefers the more traditional fried calamari. He ordered “The Best Fish & Chips”, which is the original from Fish & Co. This comes with the their signature lemon butter sauce and I must say he wasnt disappointed, just a tad oily on the inside. It was nice that the batter was not too thick and you still get a good chunk of fish meat.Im so gonna come back for more for satisfying dinners. My dad and aunt saw the pictures i posted on fb and Im sure Fish & Co will see more patrons! =) continue reading

Wanted to find a not-so-expensive restaurant in Vivo City, that's why we came to this restaurant. Firstly, the waiters there are very friendly. This is not my first time to Fish & Co but I am quite surprised that almost all Fish & Co branches I have went to have good waiters and good service. Not sure how they train their waiters so well So, this is what I ordered. The food portion is big, so i always fins it difficult to finish the main dish myself. The prawn is fresh and it is served in a way so that you wont need to use your hands to peel off the prawn shell. Instead you can easily eat it with your fork. The fried rice served along the dish is nice, it is not those ordinary fried rice.My boyfriend ordered fish & chip as it is too dry and he can hardly finish in the end.Anyway, I love the passionfruit soda which always come along with the set meal. continue reading
