Tried the oreo cheesecake at Greenhouse cafe. Speaking about greenhouse cafe, you should know that the place is feel with greenery. Yes that's right, the place is filled with flowers. The swings chairs and dining table really enticed me alot. I like the environment alot. However their food are not really worth the price, it's about almost 20 bucks for their main course. It's not worth the value because the food are just typically simple and the soup tasted like it was from can food. The cheesecake wasn't that bad though however personally, i prefer the bakerzin's one. It's a romantic place for couple to visit or if you have kids, you can bring them there. I'm sure the swings will interest them alot! continue reading

When i first saw this restaurant I was captured by the swing benches that were in the cafe! Immediately me and my friends went to this cafe when we wanted to celebrate a friend birthday Firstly, the singer was very good thus it did uplift the ambiance of the place. However the food was rather dissapointing as it was cold but overall i would say it is not bad(:the place is situated at a small corner of 313 and it is indeed cozy for a group gathering. continue reading

This is the first cafe that greets us as we cross over to 313 somerset from Triple one 111. As we were hungry and looking at the menu outside, the waitress usher us in. As we walked down the stairs, we thought we went to the wrong place as it's a florist selling fresh flowers. However, as the waitress lead us further in, we were in for a surprise! It's a florist cum cafe! The seats were not ordinary seats but swings that really can swing on and lots of flowers were used in the decorations. It's like dining in an indoor garden. The whole environment was so tranquil and peaceful. Surprisingly, it's not that crowded even though it's dinner time and we listened to music from Michael Buble - Quando, Quando, Quando and other nice songs. Under such a nice environment, the appetite and mood for eating also increase. I must say, their food is truly delicious. Top up about $2.50 or $3.50 to get a set meal which include soup of the day and ice-cream for desserts. Their soup arrived piping hot and creamy. My bacon aglio olio is an enjoyable dish to eat. The spaghetti is soak up with the taste of the bacon. The potion is just nice and it's not overly spicy even with the chili padi added in it. The chef was mindful to remove the seeds of the chili padi. Ice-cream is yummy too. Felt super satisfied with this meal and the concept of this cafe would make it a good place for couples too. continue reading

It's an interesting cafe that is located inside a florist. What's more interesting is that they have the swing seats, so you can sit and swing as you eat. It's also a plus point that we can enjoy looking at the beautiful bouquets as we dine. They serve western food, however we were only there for a break, so we did not try out the main course. We ordered a cake and drinks. The cake is ok, not bad. But their special blend flora tea drink is nice. The Service was really good. My mum was still holding on to her ice cream that she bought from other shop, so we were abit hesitant to go in. But when the waitress sees us, she welcomes us and say it's ok to bring in to enjoy it. Also, they provide refill of hot water for the hot tea we ordered. I will definitely go back again, maybe to try the mains when I have the chance. continue reading
