Generally a luscious restaurant located at Chinatown area, Gum Gang Won meant Garden in the Diamond Mountain. Besides authentic Korean cuisine, it also served extensive North-eastern Chinese dishes. Décor was straightforward without complicated furnishing, sitting inside was a great comfy feeling. Service was really friendly attentive, helpful recommendation given too. Glad to come here early, there were more people coming right after us.Side dishes served up, tiny portion in plate was arranged

Side dishes served up, tiny portion in plate was arranged nicely on table. Free flow-style, it was allowed to be topped up countless time. Great collection of Korean unique delicacies, they were simply light yet excellent. Kimchi was the one I like the most, slight sourly with endless appetizing flavour.

Soup was heavy-flavoured and thick, pipping hot aromatic. Noodles were springy, similar to instant noodle yet in better texture. Cabbage, Seaweeds and Carrot added to provide extra crunchiness, soup was just nice without overwhelming sovoury. Presence of egg and pork slices at bottom was delighting, well-marinated and perfectly delicious to accompany noodles. The bowl was super heart-melting and warm, portion was rather generous. Price at $13.80, it was reasonable definitely.
