Tried their pork ribs, standard ngoh hiang and their spinach and this costed $3.20. There were a few people who ordered the pork ribs so I decided to try it out. The meat was quite tender and flavourful from the gravy. The spinach was quite soft and well cooked. overall, this economical rice tasted above average. If you are around the vicinity and is looking for a place to fill your stomach, try this out!

As I was nearby the place, I decided to settle my hunger by lunching at the coffeeshop there. Besides selling porridge, He Ji Teochew Porridge also sells mixed economical rice. I got 3 ingredients - ngoh ngoh hiang (pork rolls wrapped with beancurd skin), cauliflowers and fishcake, drizzled with curry sauce. The curry sauce was quite fragrant and the ingredients were not bad. It was a little expensive though since the cai fans that I ate usually cost around $2.50 at coffeeshops.
