Many people queued up at this stall. I ordered their small bowl of mee pok at $3.00. The mee pok was not very filling but it cooked to quite chewy. The chilli did not taste spicy. It got a bit of sweet taste from the tomato sauce. The fishball got bouncy texture and not fishy taste. The fish dumpling tasted quite nice too. The overall standard is not very bad but not worth to queue.

This is another stall other than the famous fried kway teow that has got a consistent long queue during the off peak period like 3 pm. It just got me to wonder a little on how good can it be? In order to find out, i decided to join in the queue. There are the selection of $3, $4 and $5 to choose. I decided to go with the smallest bowl of mee pok for testing. The mee pok served in a small bowl. It was already nicely tossed by the Uncle after he cooked it. Another bowl of soup consists of 6 piece

The mee pok served in a small bowl. It was already nicely tossed by the Uncle after he cooked it. Another bowl of soup consists of 6 pieces of fishball was served along with the bowl of mee pok.

First mouthful. The taste of the mee pok was just ordinary. It was cooked well to the right texture that gave it a perfect springiness then tossed it well with their special chilli and tomato sauce. I was pretty impressed by the bouncy texture of those fishballs though. It tasted much better than most of those out there. These fishballs perhaps is really worth the wait.

Would i queue again? i really doubt so.
