Despite being housed in a concrete unit, the restaurant management managed to relive and recreate the kampung vibes with bamboo constructs. Fret not, this place is fully air-conditioned for dining comfort.Offering an extensive array of Himalayan/Nepalese, Indian/Pakistani and Seafood cuisine, Hot & Spicy Nasi Lemak Family Restaurant is Halal certified.Specialist in Nasi Lemak, be ready to be spoilt for choice with their wide selections of Nasi Lemak combinations. On top of that, we ordered a BBQ Stingray ($18) for sharing too. Fiery as it looks, but it was actually manageable for the palate.Decently priced and delicious food in a comfortable setting, good spot to lepak! continue reading

FoodFamous for its nasi lemak sets. Big portions and a number of variety sets to choose from.Drinks like bundung are of free flow. Marmark Fried Kway TiaoSince this is not the first time I'm there, i decided to have something different instead of nasi lemak. Marmak Fried kway tiao is something special and not seen elsewhere. Wet enough with a little bit of spicyness, the kway tiao tastes perfectly with the chicken meat and prawn. Drum Stick Nasi Lemak SetThe nasi is soft and fluffy... on top of that I love the fragrance of the coconut coming out from the steaming rice. Jumbo drum stick is well-fried, meat is tender and outer coating is cripsy. Yummy-licious!Sambal Squid Nasi Lemak SetIf you like something more spicy than the nasi lemak, try ordering sambal squid and enjoy a wonderful spicy meal. Sotong is chewy and nice.ServiceI had went there during one of my lunch time. I realised that one hour of lunch time is not enough as we need to wait about 20 minutes for the food to be served. They will place cripsy crackers with chilli sauce and otah on your table while you are waiting for your meals. They are chargable at $2.00 and $1.50 respectively.AmbienceIndonesian and Malaysian atmosphere. Place is abit crowded. They do sell frosty ice cream and gelato outside the restaurant.PriceBig Portions matches the price.Recommendation / Tips(1) Avoid lunch hours as waiting time maybe long, hard to find parking lots nearby too. continue reading
