My partner and I ordered the Seafood Linguine & Chicken Chop Aglio. It is quite affordable and pocket friendly. Orders come fast and service is quite efficient too as I went there on a non-peak hour. Food is average only. I feel that the tomato taste is too strong for the seafood linguine. The chicken chop aglio olio is not bad but there were a lot of fats in the chicken chop :/

Went to Hot Tomato for the first time.Quite busy on a weekday evening and we have to wait for 15 min before we are seated.Prawn, Steak Aglio Olio.Top another $2.90 for Soup,Drink and Garlic Bread.Steak and Prawn texture was just nice and tasty but Aglio Olio was a little too oily for me.Asked for Black Pepper sauce but was given some other funny sauce, informed their staff about it and immediately change for me without having to wait which surprised me as it was quite crowded on that day.Overral

This is one of my favourites of all time. The seafood aglio olio. The Aglio Olio is not too oily and it really tasty. It is cooked together with herbs thaat taste very good together with the pasta. The prawns are fresh and tasty as well. A dish like this costs about $10 without GST and service charge

After having my lunch set which included the tomato soup and drink, I added on $2.50 for the chocolate cake. They onlyhave 2 choices of cake available for the set, which was either this chocolate cake or tiramisu. My friend tried this cake beforeand he was praising it, although this time he did not want to add on for the cake (scared to put on extra calories). Went to Hot tomato again... I ordered the same dish as last time I visited the shop. The dish tasted alike. The chicken was tender. The sauce's sweetness and saltiness was just nice. I prefer the sausage they served. The spaghetti was not over cook and the texture was just nice. But the spagetti tasted a little too salty for me.But overall the food tasted nice. Will visit the shop again.

At Hot Tomato, you be able to enjoy very affordable set lunch during every weekday... My favorite set lunch choice will be their sirloin steak and pasta with a bowl of soup of the day and their refreshing iced lemon tea. Their sirloin is soft and juicy and definitely met the standard, with very juicy coating on it. For the soup, their soup of the day is cream of mushroom is quite alright, but a bit diluted and the portion is bit too little.

Ordered the Escalope pork chop and Chicken Chop The pork chop is just like your regular ones at food courts, only difference is that there's pasta sauce on top. As for the Chicken Chop, the gravy's a little diluted. Overall quite bland in taste. We ordered the set which came with mushroom soup and garlic bread. The amount of garlic on the bread's pathetic. Rosemary roasted half chicken $8.90The chicken is tender and roasted until golden brown. It is very flavourful.The breast of the chicken is a bit dry. But the sauce is really nice.It matches perfect with the chicken.The sauce is abit sour like vinegar. So it really make me have the appetite to continue my meal.However, the fries tasted normal, nothing special.

I ordered the fish and chips from hot tomato. The portion was pretty large with the large piece of fish fillet. The fish was deep fried till crispy. The batter they used is really good, very crispy. The fish they used is very sweet and juicy. the salad they gave is tossed with some Italian sauce, so I guess it is not too fattening. The mayo they gave goes absolutely well with the fish, it is very creamy and thick. Very refreshing.

Hot Tomato is a very pocket friendly restaurant serving western food. I ordered their Norwegian Salmon with mango pasta and added a few dollars to make it a set lunch which comprise of soup and a drink. The salmon is quite tasty as all norweigian salmons are, as it is supposedly sweeter and just fresher tasting. The aglio olio is lightly flavoured with garlic and olive oil, i love this!The beef is not bad, nicely grilled with char lines and grill flavour.
