I have been here a couple of times but on a Tuesday night was another time that i actually went to that place again... The fish was really big.... For 3 persons very worth it... IT COSTS $15 which was really cheap....

The fish was juicy and fresh and the lime was added to make it nicer and more fragrant... I couldn't help it but i used my palate instead of my stomach to eat the fish...

The calamari is fresh and the taste was unique served with tartar sauce, this stall knows how to cater the east and west cuisine in a mix....

Laslty, the kang kong costs $5.. That is cheap for a small kang kong... It has no other way of telling you that $5 these days for a family of 3 to have kang kong at $5 is very cheap....

All in all.... a very good taste in foood........

I went back to How Hup because their barbeque food is really good. This time round I ordered their BBQ stingray from my friend’s recommendation. I was surprised at how big the portion is despite it is the smallest size I’ve ordered. The stingray is fresh, of cos, and the meat is very juicy. I love the bbq taste of it. The sambal chili which the chef pours on the fish is really good too. Not too oily and have a well blend of onion taste to it. I love my fish to be soak with lime juice because it

Whenever I was here for dinner at Whampoa Makan Place, I will always ordered this dish from How Hup BBQ. I love how they cooked/fried their calamari ring - the batter used is thin and not like those sell outside with very thick batter which you can only taste the flour and not the calamari. The batter used in this stall has this very different taste which makes you wants to pop more calamari rings into your mouth. It is not oily at all too. Served with mayonnaise sauce to dip your calamari rings

It is very customary of myself to bring my family out for dinner every month at pay day no matter how much i earn... Last week was no different....There are many stalls that serve BBQ stingray and so on and so forth and people are sometimes customary to certain tastes and styles of cooking.I was very accustomed from this stall for many years. This stall serves much more than all the others for the price you pay...$15 for the sambal stingray served with chinchalok, and a serving of lime together.

$15 for the sambal stingray served with chinchalok, and a serving of lime together. I can taste the awesomeness of everything when mixed together. The fish portion for the large is really big and really awesome.. There is not much fishy smell and there are a lot of interesting things that add to the flavor...

They are also famous for their deep fried calamari... it is crispy and the Squid taste is not very strong.... I paid $10 for a plate which was served with mayo..

To end it all off... i had some sambal kang kong... $6 for this... its honestly quite cheap... The tastes is very good... not too much sambal but very proportionate to the chili.

I saw the OpenRice Sticker there and was talking to them about it and how it got there... They are a happy bunch of people! Fascinating at the same time hard working.. I know the guy there but he respects all his customers and for the rest of the people as good friends.

All in all its just another brick in the wall and its coz of WE THE PEOPLE!! respect this places a lot.

Total cost for the night $32.50

BBQ Goodness go at night for awesome atmosphere.
