Had a bowl of ee mian soup for $4.50 last night. The food court is quite crowded during dinner time even on weekdays but thankfully, there was no queue for this stall. The ingredients in it were the usuals found in ban mian soup. The soup was light-tasting (neither salty nor sweet, just the right taste) and the ee-mian gave it an extra taste (due to the flavour of the ee-mian). Minced meat were soft too. Overall, it was a warm and filling meal.

Brought a bowl of you mian from the newly renovated noodle stall at the jurong point kopitiam outlet. Firstly, the soup base is quite well prepared, not too oily and taste quite refreshing. As for the noodle, it is sufficiently cooked with a soft and slight chewy texture. Next sufficient amount of the pork meat and vegetables is added and is sufficiently cooked as well. With the addition of the ikan bilis and the deep fried onion, it helps to enhance the overall taste of the soup. Price wise is quite reasonable.

This afternoon I had a bowl of bee hoon soup from this ban mian stall. Stall assistant was polite and smilely to me when I order my food. Less than five minutes my food was served to me. At only $4.00 per bowl, is affordable and the price is reasonable. The soup base was sweet and thick in texture. The minced pork inside are fresh and juicy too. Foodcourt environment is noisy but cooling.

The wait is finally over! Kopitiam is more than 80% in operation . New stalls had been added in the kopitiam premises with Ban Mian stall having a brand new name, named "Hua Fu" , do check them out!My friend and I decided to settle our lunch in the mall after our classes. We were deciding between the home made noodle and curry stall. Since it was before the lunch peak hours, we have a lot of seats to select from however the queue for Ban Mian was rather long with 3-4 customers ahead of me. Service was lacking as the order was jumble out. They took my order before some customers, leaving the customers in front angry. They had also took my order wrongly. Every bowl of noodle was cooked upon order, the amount of minced meat given is considered more than the average portion. In fact the bowl of noodles was big and quite worth at the cost of S$4.50. Everything was plain but the soup had added some taste but... it contains lots of MSG and we got very thirsty after the meal!
