Huber's Deli is the first stall on the right when you enter PasarBella at the grandstand. They only have 2-3 tables with few seats only, so seats are limited there. Btw pasarbella is like food court, so basically you can just sit on the seats in front of any stalls where u want to buy the food and then buy other things and eat on the same spot. They sell the cheapest drinks so far I found.. the bottled soft drinks only $1.50, a bottle of mineral water only $1!I think since Giant is just downstairs that is why they can just stock up their drinks from downstair.Anyway I ordered Deli Sandwich $7.8 i think maybe it's the cheapest food there too haha..You can add in your own mustard or ketchup or BBQ sauce on it.Besides sandwich they also sell hot dog, all at $7.8 each. For my sandwich, I added extra BBQ sauce, the taste was very BBQ haha.. maybe I should not add BBQ sauce. The meat in the sandwich was a lot, so I think it's quite worth the $7.8. continue reading

I read an article that Mr Huber is an award winning chef. Therefore I said to myself, their sausage bun has got to be a must try. I ordered caramelised onions and veal sausage with bun. It cost $7.80. Not too bad value I thought because the portion was big enough to fill me at lunch. Upon order, you need to wait for 5 minutes at least, they heat up and prepare the sausage. The sauce and caramelised onion was good. I do not eat onions like that, but the way they had prepared it, I finished all of it. Sausage was veal meat. Frankly, was kind of disappointed because it did not taste like premium sausage to me. I cannot tell as well what was the meat used. Pretty normal and average I thought. continue reading

For full review with photos, please visit:http://myfrozenreminiscence.blogspot.sg/2013/06/hubers-deli-grandstand.html(^_________^)Ambience: Situated within PasarBella.. The environment is pretty already.. There was a crowd but it was not packed.. I considered it vibrant but not a noisy place.. There are many small tables in the eating area around Huber's Deli.. There are also more seats on the 2nd level.. I did not have problems finding an empty table on a Saturday afternoon.. If you are going in a big group.. you can join up the small tables.. People are easy-going there under the dim lightings, feeling relaxed.. Heehee~Verdict: I don't mind trying other sausages/sandwiches if I'm going back to PasarBella again.. (^O^) continue reading

Huber's Deli was definitely one of the hottest stall at Pasarbella with a long queue! Why so? Because food was cooked right in front of you (means its hot and fresh!) and the sausages fresh.. and best of all, the bread is real bread! What do i mean.. my bf, being french, feels that the 'bread' here in singapore is often too soft because he is used to the baguette in France. I would say that the kind of bread Huber's serves has more bite and much more like the baguette kind of bread. We tried the spicy pork sausage and the chicken one. I much prefer chicken because it was less oily, and loved the caramelised onion on it! everything was put together very well, especially with the mustard. for the spicy pork sausage, they used sauerkraut to balance out the oiliness and had some bits of bacon on it. It was alright but probably someone who prefers the meat taste would like this more than the chicken. Would definitely eat this again! continue reading
