Hwee Hee Seafood - Li Xin Food Court (Closed)

On my previous review last week, I did mentioned that this tze char stall has some new items on the menu and I'll be back to try some of it soon. Today I decided to try the Salted Egg Chicken Rice. Rice portion was just right and the chicken is very tender. It is coated evenly with quite a thick layer of the salted egg batter. Curry leaves & the chilli padi on the batter makes the batter very fragrant. Will definitely be back to try more of the new items!

Have not been eating from this tze char for quite some time, so decided to order lunch from here today. After looking at the menu for awhile, I decided to order the Pork Rib rice with additional egg. The pork rib is tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. Sauce for the pork rib is also sweet Rice portion is just nice. Unfortunately, the egg is still very much over cooked. Before I left, I saw that they have new menu listed. Will be back to try the new menus next week!

Bought Fried Rice Yang Zhou-styled with added egg for lunch. Again, the egg is over-cooked, with the egg yoke completely dried up! Fried rice on the other hand is fragrant and quite tasty. it also comes with generous servings of imitation crab-bites & char-siew. oh, then again, by default, they will give you a packet of green chili. Don't bother asking for additional cos they will not give

Since I was helping colleague to pack lunch from Hwee Hee Seafood (Zichar), I might as well pack mine as well at the same stall to save time. Ordered the Salted Fish Fried Rice & added an egg to my rice. Although its Salted Fish Fried Rice, I can barely see any salted fish in there & the taste is quite bland.
