Ichiban Sushi is one of my favourite place to have Japanese food at an affordable price, without burning a hole in my pocket yet can enjoy fresh sashimi.This place is always crowded especially during meal times. This place is always crowded especially during meal times. I had to queue for nearly 20 minutes before we got a place, partly because we do not want to sit at the counters. We wanted a table. The food here was good, up to standards. The chawanmushi was soft and tasty. To me, I believed that from the basic food item like chawanmushi, one can tell whether that food outlet's standard is good or not.
The bento sets are very worth it as it comprises of fruits, soup, rice. Some sets will have chawanmushi. Their food items were fresh. Service wise was average.
