Decided to dine here with friend for dinner. I ordered Salmon Set. I looks so tempting when received the food. First bite, the salmon was quite fresh and the gravy was just right, its not overly salty and really goes well with the salmon. The salmon was tasty and nice. The miso soup was quite nice, piping hot and not too salty. The chawanmushi was good too. It was soft in texture and have the actual egg taste. Its really melt in your mouth for the first bite. I can't express how much I love Jap food! This one is a cook-it-yourself, shabu shabu-style found at Ichiban Sushi. This dish is served with the hotpot and a candle below. The staff lits the candle up and the soup will start to boil. Shabu Shabu your beef in the hotpot, and take it up whenever you want. Rare or well done in soup? Excellent service too!Japanese food again never fails to lighten my spirits up.

Had a $10 voucher from ichiban sushi. So i decided to get a cheese cake and some mochi. The cheese cake is an all time favourite. It’s smooth and light and price is affordable. Just $8.80. As for the mochi ($3.90) , it’s tasty as well. The skin is still soft despite putting it in the fridge for 1 day. A good try !

Ichiban Sushi! My favourite sushi at Ichiban Sushi is none other than the inari, which has lobster with mayo filling. The lobster is really tasty and the sweetness of the mayo really helped to bring out the best of the lobster. There is a little bit of of wasabi which I personally taught helped to top the sushi off really nicely.

We tried the Chicken curry cheese set at ichiban. Chicken curry cheese is basically a hot plate dish made up of fried chicken swimming in thick curry gravy with carrots and a slice of cheese ontop. When served, the gravy is already boiling hot, but the fire is still lit so that your cheese can melt. I suggest not stiring the melted cheese in because it tastes better that way. Once the cheese is melted, you should blow out the fire (takes a few tries) to avoid having smoke in your face. The set c

Once the cheese is melted, you should blow out the fire (takes a few tries) to avoid having smoke in your face. The set consists of miso soup, rice, tempura and2 small pieces of watermelon. Overall i think the curry version is nicer than the chicken curry. The chicken somehow still manages to retain its crispiness, which is great!

And also because theres a promotion for Japanese Fish Cake ($4 for 4 pieces, takeaway), we bought all 4 different flavours of fish cake. The flavours are: Ebi, vegetable tempura, octopus and squid. I liked the ebi ones best. However, you should eat them soon after purchase as they don't taste as nice cold.

Strawberry sparkle as a drink at $4.60++ is not a cheap drink at Ichiban Sushi as so far that's the most expensive drink i had paid but again such drinks are instance made only upon ordering and their mixture is always not too sweet and soda added just nice.Their agedashi tofu at $4.90 for 4 pieces of well fried beancurds is however value for money. It's so well deep fried that the skin is crisp and the dashi and seaweed toppings with the sauce is a prefect dish that i could eat the whole 4 piece

I like this teriyaki chicken rice don! as you can see they serve the rice with quite many pieces of teriyaki chicken. and it is sprinkled with little bit of white sesame seed for a better presentation for the dish. it is $9.90 for this ala carte item. it is served with a small bowl of miso soup. there are some small beancurd cubes and seaweed are in the miso soup. the soup and teriyaki chicken are just taste very nice!

I grabbed some sushi from the takeaway kiosk at Ichiban Sushi while waiting for my boyfriend. I wasn't hungry actually but just thought I'd like to get some snacks to munch on.I got myself a salmon maki and a crabmeat maki. They were really fresh and didn't reek of any fishy odor. If my memory serves me right, it probably cost $0.70 for the salmon maki and $0.50 for the crabmeat maki.

Yes we all love food. But don't you love Sushi more? On Mother's day, my sister and I decided to give Mommy a treat to her favourite - Sushi! All of us love Ichiban Sushi's Lobster Roll Sushi. Its taste is really extraordinary. Unlike all the other sushi, we do not get sick of it! Really fabulous food. This is one of the few Sushi that is our all-time favourite. Besides that, the price is really reasonable! It's only about $1 if you take away. Dining in will be more expensive, naturally. NEVERTH

Are you very very very hungry? If you are, you should totally try the set meals at Ichiban! The serving there is really huge and definately can satisfy your big appetite! I can never finish one set meal by myself. This time round, I ordered the cheesy chicken set and its yummy! The set meal came with main course (cheesy chicken), soft shell crab as side dish, rice, miso soup, chawanmushi and a small plate of watermelon. The food is good and the environment is also very comfortable!

I love Japanese food! Its nice having so many Japanese restaurants in Singapore for you to choose from. My friends and I settled for Ichiban Sushi as its name suggests Ichiban (number 1)!! We each had a salmon set done differently as well as some side dishes to go along with! Japanese green tea as usual was served hot! The air con in the restaurant was freezing cold that night, probably where we were seated so we had to gobble up our food real fast..least it turns cold as well! haha!

I am an Udon fan! i love the unagi Udon here! The chawamushi is a must whenever i go to a japanese restaurant. It has a smooth texture and the ingredients inside are fresh too. However the waiting time to go into Ichiban Sushi is quite long and the queue can go up to 15 people. The Unagi Udon is Srumptious and its a must try when i go there

You got to try the cheesecake at Ichiban Sushi. They came in two sizes for the cake, the regular one could be shared among family and the mini cheesecake which came in a mini box and looks presentable and nice to give away as a small little gift. The cheesecake itself is tastefully done and one bite of it, feels like melting ice cream in your mouth. Feels cheesy and soft. Highly recommended to all cheese lovers !
