My roommate and me went to look at their menu for lunch. There are many choices for selection, but he chose to have Steamed Chicken Rice and Teh O; whereas I decided to try their Char Siew Rice with Coffee because both the Steamed Chicken Rice and Char Siew Rice are the same price at $3.80 per serving. This is a HDB restaurant near to Admiralty MRT Station.Hope you can go there to try their food, but be extremely careful when you want to dip your food with their chili sauce because it is very spicy until you need to finish in drinking the free soup. continue reading

I have always give it a miss when I pass by every Sun after my routine run because is either long queue or I'm into Chong Pang Nasi Lemak at the other stall. For now, decided to go for a change and so walk in to buy a typical Singaporean breakfast in their stall. They have small dining area for customers to have their food and also for a drink on the spot or even take away.In their breakfast menu are nasi lemak, vegetarian beehoon and economical beehoon or fried noodles. And you can choose from their variety of side dishes like mixed vegetables, luncheon meat, fishcake, and many more. I personally think the price is quite affordable as compared to foodcourt and some other stalls. I think they charge according to each side or the number of sides. I bought mixed beehoon and noodles with one fishcake and another packet with a different side, luncheon meat. Each packet cost $1.70, total for 2 packets at $3.40.The beehoon and fried noodles are tasty, not very dry and also not oily. The portion is just right and their sides are normal or maybe it is freshly fried so it doesn't taste harden a little. Although there is nothing to rave about but it is at least pleasing to the palate. You can compare with some other stalls which you might get either too oily or too salty. continue reading
