This is a rather new cafe at SGH. As i was there just last week and was having my dinner there so decided to try out this new cafe. The shop size is rather small, so it is actually quite packed when i was there during dinner time. So i have to wait awhile for a table to finish their meal and clear their table.Wanted to order mee siam initially but it was all sold out, so i ordered a bowl of laksa instead. The laksa is very yummy, the gravy is quite thick and milky. The spiciness and taste of the dried shrimps blended so well with the laksa gravy! The 'thick bee hoon' texture is so 'Q' that i like it very much! And i love all their ingredients, the fishcakes, hardboiled egg and especially the cockles! The cockles are so fresh and cooked just nice, which has retained the tenderness and juiciness of the cockles!!! Wow, its so yummy!!!BUT, their serving is really too small at a cost of $3.80 a bowl! I actually don't feel much after this bowl of laksa. Another thing is that their laksa is not hot enough, maybe its to retain the tenderness and juciness of the cockles and 'Q'ness of the bee hoon. continue reading
