I have been a great fan of local prawn noodle soup, whenever I've found any prawn noodle stall in hawker centres or coffee shops, I can't help taking a look and smell the aroma of the prawn soup. Recently, I get to know of a great Big Prawn Noodle stall located in Geylang whom the chef was previously working for a well known prawn noodle house somewhere in the east coast.
As usual, I will not hesitate to try as the menu looks even identical in some way. The result is satisfying because the rich taste of freshness of the prawn and the sweetness of the pork bone combination.
There are altogether 10 main types, the normal Prawn Mee Soup & Dry, the Big Prawn Mee Soup & Dry, the Big Prawn Pork Rib Mee Soup & Dry, the Big Prawn Pig's Tail Mee Soup & Dry and the Pork Rib Pig's Tail Mee Soup & Dry. The best part is that you can ask for additional Noodle, Mee Hoon or Kuay Teow without having to pay additional charges but you must tell the stall owner beforehand.
As this owner just started this business not too long ago, he operate almost everyday without resting. This is especially great when I found that most of the Prawn Noodle Stall closes for business every Tuesday. Solved my cravings for Big Prawn Noodle on Tuesday!!!
Other Info. :
The soup is quite good as compared to many prawn noodle stall nearby especially the one in Lorong 24A just opposite selling only in the morning till 12 pm at most and another famous prawn noodle in Lorong 1 operating until 2 pm at most.
