After seeing the advertisement of this Double Down Max by KFC for so many times, decided to give it a try .2 large pieces of crispy chicken fillet, filled with a hash brown , cheese and a piece of bacon. It was quite bulky which made it quite hard to bite it as a whole. Due to the heavy flavour of the chicken fillet, you simply cannot taste the rest of the items. It was quite a heavy meal which it really need you to have a big appetite to finish the whole burger. continue reading

What is it with KFC and all its hero afflicted burger? Tried the double down max today. With its 2 piece of chicken parties, hashbrown, cheese and bacon, I could not help but to wonder if I am having way too much for a meal. Overall, taste can't go wrong since its the same piece of patty that was used for zinger, but the hashbrown was soggy and did not enhance the taste. Most of the time it was covered by the taste of the chicken. Rather be without it. continue reading

Delicious egg tarts

Snack time so I decided on the KFC portuguese egg tarts. I had previously bought it before and it was so delicious that I bought it again. The portuguese egg tarts were quite hot. The outer layer was cripsy, indicating that the pastry was very well done. As for the custard, it was slightly burnt on some edges but there made it delicious and nice. It tasted sweet and you can even semll the aroma of the combination of the eggs and custard. One bite and it simply melts in your mouth. Have it with a cup of coffee or tea and it makes a good snack for tea break. continue reading
