I went to causeway point with my family for dinner. I was surprised to find the whole mall under renovation. Luckily for us, the food court was still open and all the stalls were still there. I ordered my favorite food there, Kim dae mun Korean food. I love their Korean hot plate chicken. It is marinated very well. Very tasty. It comes together with a tiny portion of ikan bilis and kimchi. I love the way they marinate the ikan bilis. Sweetish and spicy. Nice... continue reading

I am not a fan of korean food and definitely not an expert when come to the foods and its culture. I was just happened to be here for dinner and decided to give this stall a try out of curiosity. I do think $4.00 for such a set is rather reasonable, i got a generous portion of rice and korean style stir-fried meat and a bowl of luke warm soup. I did enjoy eating the meat with the rice and the only complaint gotta be the lukewarm soup. No matter, all soups should be served hot. I am rather particularly when come to this. And for this particular encounter, it was definitely a big turn off.The overall experience was not a disappointing one though. continue reading

I have a thing for korean good but this just taste horrible. Not just bad but horrible. Other than the fact that the noodles they used is just maggie mee, it is not entirely cooked too. The noodles is hard, and there is nothing much in this so-called ramen, other than the egg which i can even cook myself and a piece of vegetable. I wonder how this bowl of noodles is $4, and i wonder why it is called korean ramen. The soup is not nice at all. Oh it comes with 2 dumplings, at the side, so small you cannot even see. continue reading

Here comes another review about bibimbap! I was having my usual crave for korean food and was sooo lucky to find one in the food mall! Had my favourite bibimbap that day. Wasn't good to my cravings because it isn't that nice. Sadly. The rice is too salty as they've put too much of the korean chilli sauce. Although it is in a stone bowl, somehow the bowl of rice was rather cold already. The carrot was mushy and all. SAD! continue reading
