Introduction
KOI Cafe was established in 2006 and came to Singapore in 2007. The first outlet in Singapore was in Toa Payoh. Most of the ingredients used in the making of the drinks are imported from Taiwan, in a bid to bring the authentic taste of Taiwanese milk tea to locals.

Signature Dishes
KOI cafe is located near the escalator and there is nowhere to sit in the shop. You have to wait quite awhile for your order because there is usually a lot of people.I ordered a cup of hazelnut milk tea (SGD2.90 for M, SGD4.90 for L).. it tasted really artificial but on the other hand, the sweet drink was very refreshing after a tiring day of shopping. you can choose the sugar level and I picked 25%... which I felt was again, too much because it was really rather sweet. If i had to choose again, i would pick no sugar at all.According to KOI, Hazelnut Milk Tea is one of their best-sellers and deeply loved by customers. It is said to be made with the highest quality hazelnut syrup, the sweet flavor and the fragrance made our Hazelnut Milk. Of course, 'syrup' is the highlight.I am usually very wary in purchasing bubble tea because of the excessive plastic they use.. this buy and discard culture really must end. i hope KOI would become more environmentally friendly, as they use EXCESSIVE plastic.. too much of it in fact.

Looking for a drink after dinner and had decided for Passion Aloe Vera Tea from KOI, categorized under its chewy tea menu. Requested for the medium size at S$3.60 with sugar level of 50%. I was served by a polite and cheery girl. After order was taken, I was given a slip for the queue number.First in the queue and I had got my drink within 3 minutes. Fast! Not too sweet and chewy. The pearls sweetness is alright with the aloe vera cubes in the tea. Perfect! Will try for even lesser sweetness level the next round!

This is my first time trying KOI, sound so believable, LOL! This is because of the forever long and endless at KOI always freak me out before queuing for it. However, I was very full that day so I ordered a glass jelly milk tea to share with my friend (My friend love glass jelly a lot but not me). Well, after the first taste, I did not find anything special; it was just normal glass jelly with milk tea. The milk tea was nice and I had tried better one before. But after some times, I find it so additive, just cannot help stop drinking. I did not what is wrong here, firstly I did not find it very nice and secondly I was addicted to it and queue for another cups of glass jelly milk tea. FAT DIE ME!
