There were only a handful of hawkers in Singapore which was selling cheap and good food. Cheap definitely you may not get a good food, but I found one. I wouldn’t say it was heavenly fantastic yet it was really delicious to me, maybe I like Korean style Kimchi Soup very much. One bowl of plain rice was just nice to satisfy my hunger. Healthy, savory and spicy Kimchi Soup was sold here, I like to drink it while it was still hot. Food here was delicious and spicy as authentic as food in Korea. It always came along with side dishes to make it a complete set. Affordable foodcourt price, it was only $5.50 for mine. continue reading

i ordered the kimchi fried rice ($5) from this Korean stall. The lady offered me to add meat into my fried rice. I asked her what meat was available and how much was the top up. She told me there was chicken, beef etc and the top up only cost $1 which I found pretty reasonable. However I was kind of disappointed with the fried rice, it was not spicy and sour enough for me, probably if their kimchi was left fermented longer, it would have taste nicer. the ikan bilis side was not too bad, salty and chewy. continue reading

When i ordered the kimchi fried rice from the korean stall for my girlfriend, they offered me a choice of whether i wanted to add meat into the kimchi fried rice. since my girlfriend was coughing, i decided to add pork for her. i think it made the kimchi fried rice tastier somehow. their kimchi inside the fried rice was not too sour, so it was good for those who do not take sour food. as a whole it was pretty good, only $6. continue reading

i Was having lunch here, there was not a long queue at around 11+am, i ate this bibimbap (vegetable , egg, beef in a stone bowl) and a small bowl of kimchi. Fragrance is great (got bbq smell), the vegetable and egg was fresh, beef taste delicious, kimchi was quite spicy. The service was quite slow though, price was acceptable but my rice got stuck to the bowl and rice was quite sticky also. continue reading
