Enjoyed a steaming bowl on a rainy day, I like Lao Huo Tang which was a famous eatery specializing in Herbal soups. Many branches were opened gradually, able to be seen at almost all major shopping malls in Singapore. The queue was not too lengthy and the waiting time was short. Healthier choices, the ingredient was fresh without adding any preservative or MSG. The sweetness of soup was natural and rich in essence. Healthier choices, the ingredient was fresh without adding any preservative or MSG. The sweetness of soup was natural and rich in essence. The serving of Pumpkin Rice was really a lot, firmly squeezed in a bowl. Nourish soup and tangy rice, the mixture was perfectly gratifying. $4.80 for the soup while $1.05 for the rice, it was affordable and allowed to refill but only once.

Lotus roots with peanut soup and pork ribs. I always orderd this soup when I visit Lao Huo Tang. Pumpkin rice. Pumpkin rice and lao huang gua tang. The pumpkin rice has small chunks of pumkin within it. Tastes better than the normal rice. Fried tofu with chilli sauce. Served hot and the interior of the tofu is soft and fresh. The turnover of the cafe is rather fast. The cafe is suitable for a casual dinner. It was rather noisy. But the taste of the food makes up for it.
