Popiah is usual one of my favourite local delight dishes which normally i will order whenever I have my lunch, dinner or even during break hours. At no different, I have pass by this stall at Plaza Singapura and decided to give it a try. However, the taste is rather plain and with too much garlic in it which cover the natural taste of the cabbage. It is also quite soggy too.

The stall sells different sorts of local delights, they have rojak, fried kway teow, fried hokkien noodle and popiah. I go for the popiah and it costs $2.20 for a piece. Seeing them doing it already have the impression that this is not going to be fantastic and true enough it's not. The problem lies on a few factor, the popiah skin is thick, instead of pipping hot turnip, it's cold and not even warm and probably they 'cheated' by filling it with lettuce. Then there isn't any egg or prawns but tiny bits of those chopped imitation crab stick, so unreal and undelight!
