This is one of the many times we had Thai Cuisine during lunch hours from Madee Thai. Making advance reservation is always our practice so as to minimize the waiting time. What's more, with reservation, there is no need to adopt the use of Tissue-Chopping tables method. It's all done up for us.A bowl of Tom Yum Soup was definitely a good start to whet our appetite! It's tangy, sour and spicy after taste was the best out of all. For me the level of spiciness was still bearable with "shiokness".

Pandan Chicken, however was abit of lacking in fragrance and marinating sauce wasnt as intensive. Nevertheless, it still tasted good with our bowls of plain white rice.

Opted for minced pork in combination of the brinja dish. Soften and spongy in every bite, the cook was skilled enough without turning the dish into sogginess. Estimated use of heat and timing was just nice.

A definite value for money meal compared to dining in the nearby mall for Thai Cuisine if you want to save your pocket a little skipping the additional extra service charges and taxes.

Total Cost: $28 (Consisting of 4 dishes and 4 white rice)

In order to enjoy Madee Thai dishes as our lunch, reservations had to be done before hand if not the waiting time will gonna be crazy. Therefore we had requested a copy of their menu and was encouraged by the helper to take photographers of it for future reservations. Here's the 3 pages of menu available.

Dishes were all handled and cooked by the Thai chef in the kitchen. Afterall with such wallet friendly pricing delicious thai food, its definitely worth the try! Since we decided to order individual dish today, we had chosen its fried rice dishes, let's go and find out more!

Tom Yam Fried Rice
tastes a little bit spicy and the portion is good enough for 2 but with tom yam taste lacking. Ingredients consist of minced meat (look carefully as its in bits), vegetables and onions. Overall, it has a strong appetizing fragrance especially with the onions and reminds me of the spicy sardine sauce as the fried rice tastes like one.

Cost: S$4.50

Pineapple Fried Rice
was sweetened with pork floss and raisins. Comes with a few semi translucent looking prawns too, the prawns are too fake to my liking. Perhaps next time I should request for the no prawns version.

Cost : S$5.00

Seafood Fried Rice
was looking pretty usual like the chinese style Yang Chou Chao Fan. The basics of a plate of fried rice, mixed beans, spring onions, prawn with scattered pieces of egg. Nothing to rave about.
Cost: S$5.00

Service was great as the lady helper is friendly and every reservation will secure you a table in the eating house. They also practise the payment system of "Eat First Pay Later" although we are dining in a coffee shop

We will definitely be back for their mains as I still think their standard of Thai Food and service is much better as compared to Ah Loy Thai!
