Well, it may be fast food, but since this is a promotional 'time limited' item, its worth a review.First of all, the chicken samurai burger alone cost $4.8 For that price, you will be able to get a decent meal in any kopitiam. An extra value meal will cost $7.10, pretty expensive for the quality of food given. The chicken samurai burger had a nice teriyaki sauce aroma with it, however, the size of the grilled chicken fillet was just too small for that price. The only uniqueness of this burger was the teriyaki sauce, but personally, i dont feel that it is worth the price (roasta burger from KFC is much better). continue reading

I love JP's branch of Macdonalds only in the mornings - no screaming kids, just groggy people who woke up early and the whole place is so zen and quiet (9am on a weekday, that's what you get) The cashiers were also very patient with people who just woke up (like me) and can't order with a straight mind. :X With some help of the cashier to organize my thoughts, here's what I ordered - pancakes + maple syrup + hash browns + McCafe's Iced Mocha. It came up to a surprising $7.10 which was possibly the most expensive single meal I've ever had in McDonalds. But wait, it's really worth it because I was so full I could last beyond lunchtime! Heh.The pancakes at McD is still one of the unbeatable common pancakes, it's soft, fluffy, easy to cut and the combi of butter+maple syrup is so sinfully delicious. Hash brown is tasty as usual. McCafe's Iced Mocha is definitely my favourite choice out of everything here, wakes me up and preps me for a good day ahead. continue reading

Macdonalds at Jurong Point is often not crowded despit Jurong Point being located near several institutions. Value meals make the dining experience more worth it. My favourite would be the McSpicy, because it is always served hot and it is really spicy, catering to the tastebuds of Singaporeans. The meat within the burger is also made out of thigh meat, instead of the patties you get in Macdonalds. Most worth a try! continue reading

My favourite beverage for tea time is McDonald's Caramel Frappe which features a pre-mixed mostly coffee, cream, milk, and corn syrup base blended with ice and topped with whipped cream and a squeeze of caramel syrup. The aromatic smell of coffee blended ice drink really enlightens your day under a hot scorching weather. It has a strong caramel flavor that will stay long at your taste buds. You should give it a try as it is really awesome. The price range is quite affordable and you can get it anywhere at any McDonald's branches. continue reading

Decided to try the limited special Creme brulee flavoured McFlurry dessert here at McDonalds. It is just simply not worth the additional 60 cents. It is essentially the same oreo mcflurry but this time, they stirred in some chocolate krispies cereal to replicate the crunchy sugar layer on top of a creme brulee and lots of toffee to replicate the flavour of creme brulee. However, it just doesn't hit the mark on reaching anywhere near a decent creme brulee and I would stick to the normal oreo mcflurry for my dessert fix. continue reading
